Swiftkey X 2.2: nuove lingue, multitouch e nuovi layout

Dopo il simpatico tema rilasciato in occasione della festa di Halloween, è stato rilasciato un nuovo aggiornamento per Swiftkey X che porta la numerazione 2.2

Questa tastiera alternativa non ha bisogno di presentazione essendo ormai la migliore di quelle non a scorrimento come Swipe.

La nuova versione porta con sé novità per quanto riguarda le lingue supportate che sono ora 35. Vengono aggiunte l’arabo e l’ebreo. Ci sono anche nuovi layout anche se non sono quelli normalmente utilizzati in Europa o in America. Viene migliorata la gestione del multitouch ed è stato aggiunto il supporto ad Ice Cream Sandwich.

Other UX improvement highlights include full support for Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich), an improved menu for sharing SwiftKey with your friends, and a better implementation of the typing heatmap graphic, which shows you how Fluency models your typing accuracy with each key to improve predictions.

Viene migliorata anche la parte riguardante il metodo di apprendimento, che a Facebook, Twitter, SMS e Gmail aggiunge anche il supporto agli RSS. Bisogna indicare un indirizzo web di un blog, o meglio il link ai suoi feed, e il programma lo userà per rendere il metodo di apprendimento più preciso.

Io lo uso da più di un anno e, in base alle statistiche disponibili nell’applicazione, ho risparmiato grazie al metodo predittivo, il 40% dei tap. Non male!
